Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for Senior Analyst, SAP HR to join the team. The Senior Analyst reports to the Manager of Corporate Applications in the Information Services Operating Group. The Senior Analyst will play a key role within the Corporate Application Functional Support team, contributing to the support of HR, Corporate, Legal, and Regulatory applications.

The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Promote Pembina’s “Zero Compromise” cybersecurity culture and “Zero by Choice” safety culture by protecting systems, data, and networks and adhering to best practices and Life Saving Rules;
  • Provide functional support and administration for SAP HR solutions, including SAP Fiori HR apps (e.g., My Timesheet, Approve Timesheet) and SAP S/4 HCM configuration (attendances, absences, quotas);
  • Support and monitor SuccessFactors and HR integrations, including Cloud Integration (CI) interfaces to third-party and internal systems (e.g., Ceridian Dayforce, benefit providers), ensuring integration/replication health and stability;
  • Review and translate business requests into scalable solutions by partnering with users to define processes, recommend configuration improvements, and manage/report changes through IS delivery, governance, and change-management tools;
  • Plan and coordinate unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; develop/maintain process and technical documentation; and support HR teams with end-user training materials as needed;
  • Research, recommend, and implement SuccessFactors upgrades/enhancements, including impact assessment, coordination with integrated systems, and change management;
  • Ensure HR application architecture and security align with enterprise technology strategy and governance frameworks, including role/group access design;
  • Coordinate with service vendors and internal delivery teams to resolve incidents and deliver projects/enhancements, including defining specifications for custom development (reporting, integrations, data extraction/transformation, and load scenarios);
  • Continuously adapt to emerging technologies and evolving technical requirements by actively acquiring new skills, applying innovative solutions, and integrating feedback into daily problem-solving.
  • Responsible for HCM application architecture alignment with enterprise-wide technology strategy roadmap; and
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect in day‑to‑day work interactions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supporting SAP S/4 HCM applications, including configuration of new attendances, absences, work schedules, Cross Application Timesheet (CATS) processes and absence quotas;
  • 5+ years supporting SAP HR applications, including SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP integrations/replication, and experience across Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, and Learning;
  • Experience developing time‑related schemas and leveraging AI‑enabled automation tools is considered an asset;
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, resolving issues constructively and building positive working relationships;
  • Applies strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to deliver accurate, well‑organized outcomes;
  • Effectively balances multiple concurrent priorities with minimal supervision;
  • Performs well in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment with competing deadlines.

Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
