Our SAP Application Managed Services (AMS) division helps customers operate their SAP environments reliably, efficiently, and in a way that’s future-proof. We combine in-depth SAP expertise with modern, AI-powered support and automation solutions. As a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant (m/f/d), you will serve as the primary point of contact for all business and technical questions related to our customers’ financial accounting and controlling processes. You will manage existing SAP systems during day-to-day operations, analyze requirements and issues, and develop sustainable solutions in collaboration with our customers. You’ll work in dedicated AMS teams that combine personalized support with scalable, international support structures.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting and optimizing SAP FI/CO processes as part of our Application Managed Services
• Analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests
• Providing business and technical consulting to our clients regarding SAP FI/CO
• Managing and further developing core financial processes, particularly general ledger accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable, asset accounting, and bank accounting
• Assisting with period-end and year-end closing processes, as well as analyzing and resolving posting and closing issues
• Managing and optimizing controlling processes, particularly cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, and segment reporting
• Assisting with planning, budgeting, allocations, distributions, and the preparation of management and controlling reports
• Analyzing business requirements and error patterns, and developing appropriate solutions
• Conducting error analyses and coordinating tests, corrections, and transports
• Ensuring and optimizing integration between SAP FI and CO, as well as with adjacent modules such as MM, SD, PS, or PP
• Working closely with key users, business units, development, SAP Basis, and other AMS teams
• Contributing to the continuous development and optimization of our SAP landscapes
• Creating solution documentation and actively sharing knowledge within the team
• Using modern tools, including AI-powered ones, to efficiently and proactively design support processes

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO consulting
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and SAP CO processes as well as Customizing
• Good knowledge of several of the following areas: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, or Profitability and Market Segment Accounting
• Good understanding of the integration of SAP FI and CO with related modules such as MM, SD, PS, or PP
• Experience in the structured analysis and resolution of incidents, problems, and changes
• Experience in supporting tests, bug fixes, and transport processes
• Ideally, knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, the Universal Journal, and Fiori
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong customer focus and the ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way
• Interest in continuous improvement as well as modern automation and AI solutions
• Very good German and good English skills
