We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Support Specialist to join a global SAP Center of Excellence team. This role is responsible for providing functional support, incident resolution, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP Finance and Controlling processes in a dynamic enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA functional expertise with hands-on support experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams across multiple regions. This position includes both operational support responsibilities and participation in small-to-medium enhancement or project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for SAP FICO modules, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, root cause identification, and resolution.
  • Support Finance and Controlling business processes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, and Product Costing.
  • Manage and support enhancement requests, configuration changes, and testing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams, including SD, MM, PP, and technical teams, to ensure integrated process continuity.
  • Participate in small projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and production support activities.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and support solution delivery.
  • Support interfaces and related applications connected to SAP Finance processes.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests while maintaining high service quality standards.
  • Mentor or provide guidance to unior analysts when required.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and process standardization activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of SAP FICO functional experience in support and/or implementation environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    1. General Ledger (GL)
    2. Accounts Payable (AP)
    3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
    4. Asset Accounting (AA)
    5. Cost Controlling (CO)
    6. Product Costing (CO-PC)
  • FSCM components such as Credit Management, Dispute Management, and Collections Management
  • Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of integration between SAP FICO and other modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
  • Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and support activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and global support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects or migrations.
  • Exposure to SAP cloud integrations or related solutions such as Concur.
  • Experience using SAP Solution Manager for incident, transport, and change management.
  • Knowledge of North American tax processes is considered a plus.
  • Experience working within AMS or SAP support delivery models.
  • Previous experience leading small initiatives or mentoring junior team members.
