Our culture rewards initiative, accountability, and continuous growth. This is a place where your expertise is valued, your work is meaningful, and your performance truly matters. If you’re energized by learning through real-world challenges, collaborating with top-tier talent, and expanding your capabilities every day, C5MI is where strong consultants level up.

Position Summary:

The Senior SAP EWM Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for clients, often acting as lead on projects and mentoring other consultants. This individual collaborates with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configures SAP EWM systems, and ensures successful project delivery.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provides coaching and mentorship, focusing on bringing out the best in team members by guiding them through goals and obstacles.
  • Leads collaboration with clients and business stakeholders to gather and analyze extended warehouse management requirements, translates requirements into technical specifications, and configures/customizes SAP EWM modules to meet client needs.
  • Develops test scenarios and performs functional testing to ensure the proper functioning of SAP EWM configurations and customizations, and identifies and resolves issues, defects, and gaps during the testing phase to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Creates user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials for SAP EWM processes and functionalities, and develops and supports guiding principles, processes, policies, and standards surrounding EWM.
  • Educates others on the workflows, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by EWM, and conducts training sessions for end users and client personnel on EWM usage and best practices.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, solution architects, developers, and functional consultants, to ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA).
  • Provides timely support and resolution to complex client issues related to SAP EWM functionality, configuration, and data.
  • Collaborates with technical teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues impacting SAP EWM functionality, and to support system integration, data migration, and interface development.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of industry best practices, SAP methodology, principles, concepts, and techniques, and stays up to date with the latest SAP EWM functionality, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Fosters continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP EWM.
  • Travels to client sites as needed to assist with project activities and go-lives; travel up to 50% or more of the time.
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Advanced understanding of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functionality, with the ability to independently design, configure, enhance, test, implement, troubleshoot, and debug.
  • Familiarity with SAP EWM integration with other SAP modules and components, such as SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse management concepts, industry-specific requirements, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
