The SAP Architect is a SAP specialist with experience leading technology projects and 10+ years’ development and architecture experience with infrastructure, enterprise, or solution design.

Senior SAP Developer / Architect MM, SD-LE, SD-FT, GTS (m/f/d)

• Translate software architecture into detailed technical designs, code, unit and modular tests, and optimized solutions
• Perform technical analysis of business requirements and processes and translate them into robust SAP solutions
• Design and implement architectures on-stack and side-by-side using SAP BTP, following Clean Core principles
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, RICEF, Idoc handling, qRFCs, CDS, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated checks, and adherence to SAP best practices
• Execute and support testing activities in collaboration with functional, business, and project teams
• Analyze root causes, fix defects, adapt to system changes, and deliver performance improvements to existing and future applications.
• Evaluate and adopt new SAP technologies (e.g. BTP / AI)
• Define and promote best-practice approaches across architectures, technologies, and deployment scenarios
• Collaborate closely with consultants, architects, business and project managers, and contribute to steering implementation projects while ensuring high quality standards
• Coordination and support for tasks assigned to a group of developers
• Ownership of technical design and implementation
• Own application roadmaps, lifecycle planning and technical architecture diagrams.
• Make sure that the actions assigned to the resources are clearly understood and completed with good quality
• Subject Matter Expert on SD-LE, SD-FT, GTS.
• Expertise on ERP/ GTS/ EWM Integration will be an added advantage.

Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information, or a comparable qualification
• 8–10+ years of professional SAP development experience, ideally in an international environment
• Strong expertise in ABAP (new syntax), ABAP, RAP, CDS, VDM, and OData, APIs, IDocs, qRFC.
• Good functional understanding of SAP modules, including customizing – MM; SD -LE, SD-FT, GTS)
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, BTP, Front end servers, designs.
• Good understanding of SAP Clean Core and modern extension strategies
• Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and ability to explain complex topics clearly
• High motivation for continuous learning and innovation
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer-oriented mindset
• Very good English communication skills both written and verbal; German is a strong plus
