
Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Manufacturing, Quality & Procurement (PP/MM/QE)
Kitchener, ON, Canada – Remote
The Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Manufacturing, Quality & Procurement (PP/MM/QE) is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions across Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Quality Engineering (QE). This role supports end-to-end SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and procurement platforms while partnering closely with business and IT teams to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead SAP enhancement and business process projects including blueprinting, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support
Act as a functional consultant on change requests and projects while partnering with Solution Architects
Build strong relationships across Business Operations and IT organizations
Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing IT solutions and processes
Manage service requests, incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis activities
Provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot complex SAP functional issues
Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to resolve system challenges
Ensure SAP solutions comply with governance, risk, compliance, and quality requirements
Support auditors and controllers during compliance reviews and audits
Lead regression testing activities for change requests and system projects
Contribute to organizational growth by supporting recruitment activities when needed
More about you:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of SAP ECC consulting experience within PP, MM, and QE modules
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation projects
Strong understanding of manufacturing and procurement business processes
Experience with SAP Ariba and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) preferred
Knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, and escalation management
Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business language
Experience leading business process changes and organizational transformation initiatives
Agile/DSDM methodology experience is a plus
Excellent English communication skills

This role's pay range is between: $100,000 – $135,000 annually. This role is also bonus eligible.
