We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP CAPM Developer with strong experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), SAP Fiori/UI5, and TypeScript The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications while ensuring seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

  • Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.
  • Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications with modern UI/UX standards.
  • Develop backend services using Node.js/Java with CAPM, with strong focus on TypeScript
  • Implement OData services, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems, and cloud services.
  • Work with SAP BTP services such as:
    • Destination Service
    • XSUAA (Authentication & Authorization)
    • Cloud Foundry environment
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP development
  • Strong expertise in:
    • SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment)
    • SAP CAPM (Node.js or Java)
    • TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Proven experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development
  • Experience working with:
    • OData V2/V4 services
    • CDS (Core Data Services)
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and event-based systems.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or Web IDE.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration
  • Knowledge of Workflow Management / SAP Build Process Automation
  • Experience with SAP HANA Cloud or databases.
  • Exposure to SAP Extension Suite and side-by-side extensions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of UI5 freestyle and Fiori Elements

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Minimum Graduation required (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field).
