Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to manage and monitor the SAP landscape, ensuring stable performance, reliable integrations, and efficient incident and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the complete SAP landscape, including daily health checks, performance checks, and benchmarks.
• Identify performance indicators, trends, and potential risks.
• Manage testing and integration processes and ensure optimal job and batch execution.
• Analyse and resolve SAP incidents and document them in Topdesk.
• Monitor and manage incoming service notifications and incidents.
• Perform risk and impact analyses for changes, implement changes, and validate results.
• Coordinate with clients, internal stakeholders, and infrastructure teams.
• Support and coordinate major changes across the SAP environment.
• Analyse complex customer issues across application and underlying technical layers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior SAP Basis Consultant.
• SAP Certified Technology certification.
• Experience with Topdesk or a similar IT service management tool.
• Experience with at least one operating system, such as Windows or Linux.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, customer-focused, results-oriented, and stress-resistant.
• Strong Dutch communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Able to understand complex technical environments and coordinate major changes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of Cloud and Automation.
• Experience with DevOps, Agile, or Scrum.
• Experience within a government environment.

Assignment

• Location: The Hague, Netherlands
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Work authorization: Work must be performed from the Netherlands due to security requirements.
