Requirements


We are looking for an experienced
SAP ABAP HR Consultant

to design, develop, and enhance HR-related ABAP solutions across SAP HCM and SuccessFactors landscapes. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in
ABAP HR development

,
payroll integration

, and
employee data replication

, with the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned to SAP best practices.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and enhance
    ABAP HR objects (RICEF)

    including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.


  • Develop and customize
    HR-specific ABAP developments

    , including processing of logical databases, infotypes, payroll functions, and HR forms.


  • Create and maintain
    custom infotypes

    and HR enhancements to address business-specific requirements.


  • Build and support
    interfaces between SAP HCM / SuccessFactors and SAP ECC/ECP Payroll

    , ensuring accurate employee and payroll data replication.


  • Support
    employee master data replication

    , troubleshoot replication issues, and perform detailed error analysis.


  • Develop and maintain
    Remuneration Statements / Salary Slips

    using Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.


  • Apply
    SAP best practices and coding standards

    to ensure maintainable and high-quality solutions.


  • Prepare and maintain
    technical design documents and development documentation

    .


  • Perform
    unit testing, integration testing, and debugging

    , including payroll and replication-related issues.


  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to interpret functional specifications and deliver technical solutions.


Required Skills & Experience


SAP ABAP & HR Technical Skills


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in
    SAP ABAP HR development

    .


  • Strong expertise in:


    • ABAP programming, Data Dictionary, Function Modules


    • Smart Forms, Adobe Forms


    • User Exits and BAdIs


    • BAPIs and RFCs


  • Hands-on experience with
    OOABAP

    and modern
    ABAP 7.4+ syntax

    .


  • Experience working with
    logical databases (PNP/PNPCE)

    and HR payroll processing.


SAP HR Functional Knowledge


  • Strong understanding of SAP HCM modules:


    • Personnel Administration (PA)


    • Organizational Management (OM)


    • Time Management (PT)


    • Payroll (PY)


  • Experience handling
    payroll functions, wage types, and salary processing

    .


Integration & Data Replication (Mandatory)


  • Proven experience integrating
    SAP SuccessFactors with ECC/ECP Payroll

    .


  • Strong knowledge of:


    • Business Integration Builder (BIB)


    • Point-to-point integrations


    • Employee and organizational data replication


  • Ability to debug and resolve replication and payroll interface issues.


  • Experience with
    SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)

    is a strong plus.


  • Hands-on experience with
    OData APIs

    in SuccessFactors.


S/4HANA & Advanced Skills


  • Exposure to
    SAP S/4HANA

    and
    Core Data Services (CDS Views)

    .


  • Experience integrating SAP HR with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.


Implementation Experience


  • Hands-on experience in at least
    two end-to-end SAP implementation projects

    .


  • Strong experience developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms from design through deployment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • SAP Certified Associate – Back-End Developer ABAP Cloud (Preferred, not mandatory)


  • Experience working in large or global enterprise environments


Soft Skills


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


  • Ability to explain technical concepts to functional and business stakeholders.


  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
