Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of a complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce environment supporting a global travel technology platform.
You will design, develop, secure, and optimize scalable Salesforce applications with a strong emphasis on advanced Apex engineering.
The position covers the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through CI/CD releases and production support.
You will work closely with engineers, administrators, product stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver reliable solutions.
A key focus will be improving platform performance, managing governor limits, mitigating record-locking issues, and maintaining strong security standards.
You will also contribute to modern DevOps practices, automated deployments, integrations, and continuous technical improvement.
This is a high-autonomy opportunity for an experienced Salesforce specialist who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and working with modern technologies.

Accountabilities

    • Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Salesforce applications, with a primary focus on advanced Apex development and robust coding patterns.
    • Own the complete software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and maintain automated Salesforce deployment workflows, version-control integrations, and CI/CD release processes using tools such as Salesforce CLI, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and VS Code.
    • Implement and maintain Salesforce security models, including sharing rules, role hierarchies, field-level security, permission sets, and managed package constraints.
    • Monitor system logs, investigate execution anomalies, and resolve performance bottlenecks, record-locking issues, query inefficiencies, and other platform challenges.
    • Optimize Salesforce transactions and data processes to manage governor limits and support high-volume, complex enterprise workloads.
    • Collaborate with developers, administrators, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, reliable, and high-performing technical solutions.
    • Contribute to Agile development practices, technical decision-making, code quality, unit testing, and production reliability.
    • Support integrations and web-based solutions using RESTful APIs and related technologies.
    • Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities, engineering practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the environment.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including 4+ years of dedicated Salesforce platform engineering experience.
      • Expert-level hands-on experience with Apex, including triggers, asynchronous Apex, Batchable, Queueable, Apex REST/SOAP, SOQL, and SOSL.
      • Strong experience with Salesforce platform development technologies such as Visualforce and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
      • Proven ability to develop secure, maintainable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions in complex enterprise environments.
      • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security and governance, including sharing rules, role hierarchy, field-level security, permission sets, and managed packages.
      • Hands-on experience managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Salesforce CLI/SFDX, GitHub or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and VS Code.
      • Strong understanding of performance optimization, governor limit management, transaction optimization, record-locking mitigation, and Salesforce data quality.
      • Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful API integrations.
      • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering teams and business stakeholders.
      • Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
      • High level of technical autonomy, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
      • Experience with Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Sass/Less, NPM, or Yarn is a plus.
      • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II are advantageous.
