Job Description

MECCA is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join the Service & Loyalty technology team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

This role will help support, maintain and evolve MECCA’s Salesforce ecosystem, with a primary focus on Service Cloud / customer care, while also working across Loyalty Cloud, Beauty Loop and broader Salesforce capability

You’ll be joining a small, high-impact team that owns the Salesforce platform end to end. This is not a narrow “pure dev” role - you’ll be involved in development, platform maintenance, enhancements, incidents, troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

The environment is fast-paced, hands-on and collaborative. The right person will be confident working with some ambiguity, comfortable jumping into a variety of work, and excited by the opportunity to learn a highly customised Salesforce environment.

The Role You Can Play

  • World Class Programs - Work on Beauty Loop, one of the region’s most recognised loyalty programs.

  • Stability - Join a growth business with continued investment in technology, loyalty and customer experience.

  • High Impact - Be part of a small team with broad ownership and real platform influence.

  • Real Variety - Get exposure across Service Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Marketing Cloud and customer care.

  • Visibility - Contribute to work that is highly visible and strategically important for 2027 and beyond.

  • Amazing company culture - Join a culture known for being positive, energetic, encouraging and fun.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, develop and implement Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Service Cloud and customer care.

  • Support and evolve MECCA’s Salesforce Loyalty Management / Beauty Loop capability.

  • Build and maintain customisations across Apex, Lightning Components, automation flows, Data Processing Engine and integrations.

  • Provide senior-level technical support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution and platform stability work.

  • Partner with product, business and technology stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.

  • Monitor platform health and proactively identify, triage and resolve performance or data issues.

What You Will Bring

  • Demonstrated experience across Salesforce development, administration and/or solution design, and hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud

  • Experience with features such as Case Management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, Live Agent and/or Field Service Lightning.

  • Strong Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce configuration skills.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or data migration tools.

  • A strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, data governance and platform performance.

  • Understanding of customer service processes, SLAs and service metrics, ideally with exposure to ITIL or service management frameworks.

Nice to have

  • Salesforce Loyalty Management / Loyalty Cloud and Marketing Cloud experience.

  • Exposure to Einstein Bots, Messaging, Visual Remote Assistance or Scheduling.

  • Amazon Connect Contact Centre experience and MuleSoft or other integration platform experience.

  • Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Salesforce CLI or SFDMU.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Specialist, Administrator, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer.

This role is based in Richmond, with 4 days per week in the office. This may be less suited to someone looking for a highly defined role boundary, a slow-moving enterprise environment, or a role focused only on net-new development.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, ownership and learning. MECCA’s Salesforce environment is highly customised, particularly across loyalty, so even experienced Salesforce specialists should expect to learn. If this sounds energising, we’d love to hear from you.
