Your role

As a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer / Senior Software Engineer, you will join a hands-on engineering team focused on building and scaling a global loyalty program and promotion engine for a large international eCommerce platform. You will work across the stack, developing backend business logic in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and frontend experiences in React using PWA Kit, while partnering closely with product, marketing, and regional stakeholders to deliver personalized rewards and offers across the eCommerce ecosystem.

Your project

You will become part of a larger global eCommerce Engineering team responsible for developing and supporting digital commerce platforms and services. The role sits within a dedicated Loyalty pod of 2–3 engineers focused on loyalty, promotions, personalization, and API-led commerce capabilities.

Your tasks

• building and maintaining Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridges and backend business logic supporting loyalty, rewards, points, tiers, and promotional campaigns;
• developing and extending storefront frontend experiences in React within the Salesforce PWA Kit / Composable Storefront architecture;
• integrating SFCC with TalonOne and related systems to enable personalized offers and loyalty capabilities across global markets;
• supporting the evolution of the SFCC architecture and wider eCommerce ecosystem towards scalable, API-led integration patterns;
• collaborating with product, marketing, regional stakeholders, engineers, and QA teams on feature implementation, troubleshooting, and triage;
• preparing workload estimates, breaking requirements into actionable technical tasks, and supporting prioritization within the Loyalty pod;
• participating in code reviews and promoting engineering best practices across both backend SFCC and frontend React / PWA Kit codebases;
• working in a global, multi-cultural eCommerce environment focused on high-quality delivery, platform stability, and continuous improvement.

Your profile

• at least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience, including cartridge development, Business Manager configuration, and OCAPI / SCAPI;
• practical experience building or extending storefronts with PWA Kit / Salesforce Composable Storefront;
• strong React skills, including component architecture, hooks, state management, and frontend engineering best practices;
• experience integrating SFCC with third-party promotion, loyalty, or personalization engines; TalonOne experience is strongly preferred;
• solid understanding of REST / GraphQL APIs, API-led integration patterns, and upstream and downstream eCommerce systems;
• experience collaborating with medium or large engineering and QA teams in Agile delivery environments;
• high-level understanding of middleware and enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, and other Salesforce products;
• very good English communication skills; experience in global, multi-cultural virtual teams and Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer certification are a plus.
