Job Description

The Sales Trainer and Coach is responsible for delivering and facilitating Executive Foundation training, deal coaching, Generative AI enablement, and other worldwide sales training programs. This role also encompasses developing and executing AWS' global curriculum strategy that aligns with customer needs and business outcomes. The position requires program development expertise, cross-functional collaboration with global teams, and strong project management capabilities.

A day in the life
The trainer will be delivering trainings for 1-2 weeks/month, travel within Asia Pacific and Worldwide according to the projects that are running, and coaching Sales or Sales Managers when necessary.

About the team
The team started 7+ years ago and it started of from Onboarding the Sales People. Now we have expanded to Ever-Boarding, and supporting all the leaders and managers in AWS Japan. We are part of Worldwide & APJ team and the business is dynamic. Once you are onboarded you will have a mentor for 3 months who will support your ramp up with your manager.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Training, Design, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience training, developing and managing education programs (other industries are still accepted)
- Few years of Sales experience with a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions and have engaged multiple CXOs
- Native Japanese language skills and fluent English language skills in speaking, reading, and writing

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong presentation, interpersonal communication, writing skills, and a desire to coach others
