Overview

The Senior Sales Specialist Manager for AI Business Solutions Workforce leads a high-performing team of specialist sellers responsible for accelerating Microsoft's AI-powered business transformation agenda across Norway's largest enterprise customers.

This leader drives customer adoption of Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered workforce solutions by helping organizations reimagine how people work, collaborate, and create value in the era of AI. The role combines strategic business leadership, people management, executive engagement, and sales excellence to deliver measurable customer outcomes and business growth.

Responsibilities

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of AI Business Solutions Workforce specialists.
• Build an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on customer impact, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Develop talent and create clear growth and career pathways within the organization.
• Recruit, retain, and develop top sales talent.

Business Leadership

• Own the AI Business Solutions Workforce business across the assigned market and customer segment.
• Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and pipeline development.
• Establish and execute business plans aligned with Microsoft priorities and customer needs.
• Build predictable business performance through strong operational rigor and sales discipline.

AI Workforce Transformation

• Help customers transform workforce productivity through Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered experiences.
• Lead conversations with business and technology executives around AI strategy, adoption, governance, and change management.
• Position Microsoft as the trusted partner for workforce transformation.
• Help customers achieve measurable business outcomes through AI-enabled productivity and process modernization.

Executive Engagement

• Build trusted advisor relationships with senior executives and key decision makers.
• Engage with C-level leaders to shape transformation strategies and investment priorities.
• Articulate business value and ROI from AI and Business Applications investments.
• Sponsor strategic opportunities and executive-level customer engagements.

Partner & Ecosystem Leadership

• Leverage Microsoft's partner ecosystem to scale market impact and customer value.
• Build strong relationships across sales, technical, customer success, consulting, and partner teams.
• Orchestrate resources across the broader Microsoft organization to deliver customer outcomes.
• Drive execution through effective collaboration and accountability.

Sales Excellence

• Coach teams on value-based selling, executive presence, account planning, and opportunity management.
• Ensure effective pipeline generation and execution across strategic accounts.
• Drive competitive differentiation in a rapidly evolving AI market.
• Foster a culture of customer obsession and solution-oriented selling.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven experience leading enterprise sales teams and delivering business growth.
• Strong people leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Experience engaging senior business and technology decision makers.
• Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives and strategic customer relationships.
• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI solutions, or SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of workforce transformation, employee productivity, and business process modernization.
• Experience working through partner-led go-to-market motions.
• Strong business acumen and executive engagement skills.

Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Norway is kr 865,000.00 - kr 1,378,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
