Whatyou’llbe doing:

Drive sales growth and deliver excellent customer service by proactively managing customer accounts, handling complex quotes, and developing new business opportunities. You will build lasting relationships with customers,colleaguesand suppliers by providing the right solutions andmaximisingsales and profitability

KeyResponsibilities

• Developingnew customer accounts andlapsedaccounts

• Maximisecustomer interactionstosupportachievementof sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products offering specific product advice.

• Ensureall customer pricingisfulfilledin a timely manner

• Buildeffectiverelationships with customers and suppliers

• Manage customer feedback accordingly andfollowplans to continuouslyimprove customer experience.

• Advise customers on specialist solutions,trading T&Csand information in relation to customer accounts and creditlevels.

• Understand local market issues, reasons for lostordersandcommunicatewith the managerto support sales growth plans.

• Supportdelivery of KPIs for the sales office as well asachieving Regional and National targets.

Required Skillsand Experience:

• Previousexperience working in building merchants (experience in Civilsandutilitiesmerchants is desirable).

• Current knowledge of civils building materials and of the current construction market would be beneficial to the role

• Proven experience insales orcustomer focused environment delivering results.

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.

• Experience in Microsoft Packages (Excel and Teams)
