What are we looking for?

We looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to join our team. We seek a proactive professional who is passionate about driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering value in the chemical distribution industry. The ideal candidate is energetic, strategic, and thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales expertise, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of market dynamics. You should be self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing key accounts while identifying new business opportunities. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential.

The key responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing and new customer base within the prescribed territory.

  • Manage and grow existing customer’s basket of products.

  • Manage and grow Bragan product offering by identifying client needs.

  • Managing supply contracts with customers.

  • Exceed sales budgets.

  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.

  • Report back to management all relevant information (written and verbal).

  • Handle and manage all customer enquiries.

  • Cold calling.

  • Always promote and market Bragan Ingredients in a positive manner.

  • Exercise a high degree of self-discipline, confidentiality and demonstrative initiative.

If you possess…

Must-Have

  • Matric (Grade 12), and Marketing qualification or any relevant qualification.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business-to-business sales environment.

  • 3 – 5 years' experience in food manufacturing/Animal feed industry.

  • Sales experience in bulk supply and in food science will be advantageous.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

  • Strong negotiation skills and conflict management.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Computer literate in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and ERP.

  • Able to compile detailed reports on customer requirements, usages, history etc.

  • Good administration skills.
