As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving operational rigor, forecast accuracy, and data-driven decision-making for the CP & ESG Professional Services organization. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, this role is highly focused on supporting professional services bookings and revenue forecasting, building scalable analytics, and partnering closely with Finance to ensure accurate revenue outlooks.
In this role, you will take ownership of complex analytical tasks and cross-functional initiatives, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Salesforce.com, Clari, and Certinia to provide insight into services performance. Your work will directly support leadership planning, operational efficiency, and the achievement of revenue objectives across the CP & ESG Professional Services teams.
Responsibilities:
Professional Services Forecasting & Analytics
Support CP & ESG Professional Services organizations in all aspects of bookings and revenue forecasting, including pipeline analysis, services backlog, and forecast rollups.
Partner closely with Finance to support services revenue forecasting, variance analysis, and revenue-related reporting.
Analyze trends and drivers impacting professional services bookings, utilization, and revenue performance.
Reporting, Dashboards & Data Enablement
Build, maintain, and continuously iterate on Power BI dashboards and data flows to support services forecasting, executive reporting, and operational insights.
Develop and maintain advanced sales and services performance metrics, ensuring alignment across Sales, Services, and Finance.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Salesforce, Clari, Certinia, and related systems.
Sales & Services Operations Support
Contribute to the design, optimization, and documentation of sales and professional services support processes.
Coordinate with IT, Sales Operations, and Services Operations teams on system enhancements, integrations, and reporting improvements.
Manage and support sales and services tools; assist with user enablement and training as needed.
Insight, Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Provide analytical insights to support strategic decisions related to professional services growth, capacity planning, and revenue performance.
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead or support initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional projects spanning Sales, Services, Finance, and Systems to drive scalable improvements.
Advanced Support & Leadership
Provide advanced analytical support and guidance to sales and professional services leaders.
Act as a trusted resource within Sales Operations and across related teams for services forecasting and reporting topics.
Independently manage ongoing responsibilities and contribute to projects with minimal supervision.
Skills:
Data Analysis & Visualization: Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights using Power BI.
Sales & Services Systems Expertise: Advanced understanding of Salesforce.com, Clari, Certinia, and related sales/services analytics tools.
Forecasting & Financial Acumen: Experience supporting bookings and revenue forecasting, ideally in a professional services or services-led environment.
Advanced Excel & Data Modeling: High proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and reconciliation.
Process Management: Ability to design, optimize, and scale sales and services operations processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Finance, Sales, Services, IT, and Operations teams.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to support strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and clear storytelling.
Technical Troubleshooting: Capacity to investigate and resolve data, system, and reporting issues.
