Analyze and monitor international retail structures (e-commerce & brick-and-mortar) to strategically strengthen IFA and its retail communities
Activate international retailers and build strategic trade partnerships independently and in close collaboration with our Global Sales Agents Network
Further develop trade visitor services and international marketing initiatives
Work cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, PR, Sales, and Operations to execute campaigns, events, and activation measures
Align closely with Sales Operations (Guest Management & VIP Relations) to synchronize databases, target groups, and programs
Sales Responsibility & Network Development
Acquire new international retail partnerships
Strengthen and strategically expand existing European key retail accounts
Promote and coordinate thematic and protocol-driven guided tours with exhibitors and stakeholders
Represent IFA at national and international industry events
Identify and develop new Retail and Partner VIPs
Execution & Partnership Management
Manage strategic research and association partners (e.g., ZVEI, BVT, VDE, NIQ)
Oversee national and European retail cooperations (e.g., EURONICS, expert, EP:, EK Retail, MediaMarktSaturn)
Further develop our Retail Benefits Program (VIP Retailer Program) in close coordination with Brand, Marketing, PR, and Operations
Organize and manage trade visitor tours, including registration processes and participant communication
Plan and execute exclusive VIP formats (receptions, lounge concepts, breakfasts, lunches, etc.)
Coordinate and qualify exhibitor applications for guided tours in alignment with gfu, IFA Management, and partners
University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in Business Development, International Sales, Retail Partnerships, or Key Account Management — ideally within consumer electronics, retail, or B2B events
Strong understanding of national and international retail structures (offline & e-commerce)
Proven experience in building and developing strategic partnerships at an international level
Strong networking and communication skills with a confident presence at industry events
Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities
Strong organizational skills and structured working style, even in dynamic event environments
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel and strong intercultural competence
