The Company
CREMER OLEO GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Hamburg in 2005 in response to rising demand for vegetable oils and fats. With sales subsidiaries in Colombia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, France and the United Kingdom, as well as major oleochemical divisions at CREMER’s branches in the USA and Singapore, the company guarantees comprehensive services and a reliable supply chain for oleochemical requirements. CREMER OLEO’s products, such as glycerine, fatty acids, bioethanol and soaps, are primarily used in the cosmetics, food and feed industries, the pharmaceutical sector and the fuel sector. With CREMER OleoServ in Uetersen near Hamburg and plants in Cincinnati (USA) and Wuxi (China), CREMER operates three facilities for the production and contract manufacturing of oleochemical products.
Established in 1946 as a grain trading house in Hanover, Germany, Peter Cremer GmbH is the original foundation of CREMER Holding.
From its headquarters in Hamburg, we organise and coordinate a large number of different international activities, as well as the group’s trade within Germany. These activities range from the worldwide trade in molasses and grain to the global marketing of steel and steel products.
