THE PURPOSE

The Senior Sales Manager Greece & Balkans will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with new clients.

YOUR TASKS

  • Prospect new clients and establish contacts to seize market opportunities, develop and expand the business in Greece and the Balkan region;
  • Accompany clients through pre-tender and consultation discussions, site visits, technical and commercial support throughout the project development process and commercial negotiations for the sale of onshore wind turbines;
  • Work closely with industry players and internal teams to maintain a detailed understanding of the market, customer account activities and new project opportunities;
  • Support the coordination and preparation of offers for turbine supply, turnkey contracts and service activities;
  • Negotiate with clients and coordinate internal resources necessary for the successful closure of contracts within the allotted time and budget, with the support of the Mediterranean Region Head of Sales and the Country Manager, playing a central role in the sales process;
  • Closely align and collaborate with internal departments: engineering, project management, legal, services, etc. and coordinate the internal project board meetings, in order to receive the required approvals for sending offers and signing contracts;
  • Plan coordinated forecasts and reports, in close collaboration with our customer relationship management tool and other IT tools, in compliance with company requirements and in cooperation with the local sales team in Italy, the Mediterranean Region Head of Sales and the Country Manager;
  • Establish close liaison with local construction and maintenance departments to ensure successful project handover between departments and improve effective feedback processes throughout operations in France;

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree: Business and/or Engineering, with good technical knowledge;
  • Technical and/or commercial experience of 10 years in the field of high-value equipment for public service companies and other institutional investors, preferably in the wind energy or energy production sectors in the Italian market;
  • Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken/written), knowledge of Serbian/Croatian, German or French would be a plus;
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy sector in Greece and/or Balkans, ideally wind energy;
  • Knowledge of project financing and experience in cash flow modeling, financial models and economic aspects of the project would be a definite advantage;
  • Curiosity, open-mindedness, and ability to quickly integrate into a constituted and cohesive team;
  • Ability to take initiatives, develop innovative ideas and work closely with the team;
  • Motivated person accustomed to working independently;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Frequent travelling to customers and projects / prospects across the Balkan region
