ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager with a focus on the Entertainment segment for a luxury hotel in Brooklyn, New York. This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who knows the entertainment industry landscape, understands how to move market share, and thrives on building lasting client connections that translate into consistent, high-value business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Drive new business development and account growth within the entertainment industry, including travel professionals, production teams, and corporate bookers
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach, site visits, trade shows, and hosted events
• Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow market share from competitors within the NYC entertainment travel segment
• Collaborate closely with the broader Sales and Marketing team to align efforts and maximize commercial performance
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposals through to contract execution and ongoing account management
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and keep the property competitively positioned
• Gather and act on guest feedback to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and service excellence
WHAT YOU BRING
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience within a luxury hotel environment
• Established knowledge of the Brooklyn and greater Manhattan market and entertainment industry travel dynamics
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and commercially driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
