OF ROLE

The Senior Sales Manager – Corporate Sales is responsible for driving corporate room revenue by developing and managing strategic relationships with corporate accounts, multinational companies, government agencies, travel management companies and key business partners.

Working closely with the Director of Sales, Revenue Management and Commercial teams, this role focuses on increasing market share, securing negotiated corporate agreements and maximising transient and group room revenue while positioning NoMad Singapore as the preferred luxury lifestyle hotel for business travellers.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Sales Manager – Corporate Sales are summarised below; however, the list is not exhaustive.

CORPORATE SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Identify, develop and secure new corporate accounts across local, regional and international markets.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate clients and business partners.

• Negotiate and secure preferred corporate rate agreements and annual contracts.

• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, networking events and site inspections to generate new business.

• Build strong relationships with corporate travel buyers, procurement teams and decision-makers.

• Develop account plans to increase room night production and overall account performance.

• Identify opportunities to convert transient business into long-term contracted accounts.

• Proactively pursue new market segments and business opportunities aligned with the hotel's commercial strategy.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts through face-to-face meetings, presentations and business reviews.

• Monitor account production, room night performance and revenue contribution.

• Analyse production trends and implement strategies to maximise account potential.

• Ensure all client information, production reports and sales activities are accurately maintained within the CRM system.

• Manage RFP submissions and participate in annual corporate account negotiations.

• Build long-term client loyalty through personalised service and proactive relationship management.

SALES STRATEGY & REVENUE OPTIMISATION

• Achieve individual room revenue and account production targets.

• Work closely with Revenue Management to optimise pricing strategies and negotiated corporate rates.

• Monitor competitor activity, market intelligence and business travel trends.

• Support commercial initiatives that drive weekday occupancy and premium room category sales.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell restaurants, meeting spaces and hotel experiences to existing corporate clients.

COLLABORATION & COORDINATION

• Collaborate closely with Reservations, Front Office and Revenue Management to ensure seamless handling of corporate business.

• Coordinate with Events and Food & Beverage teams for corporate meetings and small business functions.

• Work alongside Marketing to develop targeted campaigns for the corporate market.

• Ensure all client requirements are communicated effectively to operational departments.

ADMINISTRATION & REPORTING

• Maintain accurate account records, production reports and sales pipelines.

• Prepare weekly sales activity reports, revenue forecasts and market updates.

• Monitor corporate account performance against established KPIs.

• Ensure contracts, agreements and correspondence are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies.

GUEST EXPERIENCE & BRAND REPRESENTATION

• Represent NoMad Singapore professionally in all business interactions.

• Deliver personalised service that reflects the NoMad brand philosophy.

• Build lasting client relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

• Promote NoMad Singapore as the preferred luxury lifestyle destination for corporate travellers.

EXPECTATIONS

The Senior Sales Manager – Corporate Sales is expected to:

• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and business development skills.

• Be proactive in identifying new business opportunities.

• Work collaboratively across departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.

• Maintain professionalism and uphold NoMad brand standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on Corporate Sales.

• Established network of corporate clients and travel management companies preferred.

• Strong understanding of corporate RFP processes and negotiated account management.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and revenue management knowledge.

• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Previous luxury or lifestyle hotel experience is advantageous.
