As Senior Sales Manager Commercial Vehicles, you will be responsible for supporting and developing a customer group or market in the commercial vehicle sector. You will bring extensive experience in international sales and take on a leading role in the development and implementation of sales strategies. Your focus will be on building and maintaining long-term customer relationships as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities. Actively shape the future of the company in the commercial vehicles sector and make a significant contribution to the success of our sales team!

Your Tasks:

  • You develop and implement account strategies for a customer group or market in the commercial vehicle sector.
  • You build long-term customer relationships and maintain existing partnerships.
  • You identify new business opportunities and analyze market trends and competitive activities in the commercial vehicle segment.
  • You conduct offer and contract negotiations and strategically and operationally manage the acquisition process.
  • You will prepare sales reports and forecasts and ensure data quality in CRM
  • You will represent the company at trade fairs and industry events, particularly in the commercial vehicle sector, in order to expand your network

Necessary Skills:

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in international sales, ideally in a comparable position
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop suitable solutions
  • High degree of initiative, results orientation, and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Language skills: English at least at level B2; German skills are an advantage

Desired Skills:

  • Very good understanding of automotive value chains
  • Affinity for business models in a digital context
  • Confident use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and a data-driven approach to managing sales processes
  • Ability to work in international teams and serve customers in different cultural contexts (intercultural competence)
