Title: Senior Sales Manager – After Sales

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, manage and direct Power Generation after sales business opportunities for Direct and Distributors/Dealers Customers in North and Latin America
- Define short- and long-term goals and initiatives to promote and increase penetration in the Power Generation market segments and closely monitor results to ensure success.
- Contact, manage and provide sales assistance for service products (ex. Spare parts, Extended Coverages and etc.) to direct customers and distributors, as well as internal and field personnel.
- Identify and define new business opportunities and products to establish growth initiatives for service products and services including making the sale.
- Resolve customer and distributor issues as necessary to support on-going business as well as generate new business.
- Evaluate distributor performance against sales goals and take a proactive role to drive improvements.
- Perform administrative functions such as monitoring and assisting with budget planning, revenue forecasting, approving expenditures, and employee evaluations.
- Develop, manage and participate in tradeshows and industry events as well as assisting with the development of advertising campaigns, product literature and distributor events.
- Track and report on industry trends, business conditions and account status to develop future products and sales
- Ensure that parts inventory and training levels are sufficient (ex. at Distributors/Dealers) to provide quality sales and after sales support
- Monitor, implement and evaluate mtu's procedures, policies and agreements to increase customer awareness and compliance
- Prepare and present professional presentations to customers, management and staff
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
- Perform special projects as required
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management and 7 years of applicable experience in support, sales or parts-marketing within after-sales or 10 years of experience in service support, sales or parts marketing within after sales
- Ability and willingness to travel domestic and international on short notice, up to 75% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mtu organization (products, policies & procedures)
- Knowledge of SAP operating system
- Proven, dynamic leader of people
- Excellent knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessments, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Proven ability to manage large, complex business agreements, negotiations and financial transactions
- Proven ability to develop new business and deliver sales results.
- Strong knowledge of the practical application of systems to analyze and report on stock levels, new parts orders, shipments, and sales of after sales products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with limited information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
