About Our Client

Our client is a Korea-based fintech company specializing in digital banking solutions. The company continues to expand its D-Banking platform and financial services client base across Indonesia. It provides banking infrastructure and digital financial solutions, including Virtual Accounts, Host-to-Host corporate banking, QRIS, Direct Debit, and cross-border foreign exchange (FX). These solutions are deployed through partner banks under the respective banks’ licenses and brands.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to acquire new enterprise merchants and drive revenue growth for our D-Banking platform in Indonesia. The role focuses on bringing corporate clients with collection, disbursement, and reconciliation needs onto our partner banks’ platforms.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role responsible for developing acquisition strategies, monitoring revenue and transaction performance, and working closely with merchants, partner banks, Solutions Engineering, and HQ teams in Korea to resolve commercial and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and acquire new enterprise merchants across priority industries, building a qualified pipeline from first contact through signed contract and active transactions.
• Develop and execute practical sales strategies for priority segments and accounts, translating revenue targets into clear account plans, outreach actions, timelines, and ownership
• Own the full sales cycle end to end, covering prospecting, discovery, solution framing, commercial proposal, pricing negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and handover to implementation.
• Monitor daily revenue, transaction volume, conversion, and pipeline performance; identify underperformance, stalled opportunities, or transaction declines and determine the underlying cause.
• Act quickly when revenue or merchant issues arise, engaging merchants and partner banks directly - including on-site visits when needed - and coordinating the right teams until the issue is resolved.
• Manage individual and team sales performance through clear targets, activity and conversion metrics, regular pipeline reviews, coaching, and concrete recovery actions when results fall behind plan.
• Translate client pain points, such as VA reconciliation, settlement timing, multi-bank collection, payout automation, and cross-border settlement, into a specific D-Banking solution with Solutions Engineering support.
• Prepare and defend commercial proposals, pricing schedules, and term sheets; structure deals with the partner bank as licensed principal and coordinate NDA and PKS execution with Legal.
• Stay involved through technical discussions, onboarding, go-live, and early transaction ramp-up; maintain accurate CRM and forecasts and report material client objections, competitor moves, and commercial risks.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in B2B sales or business development, including at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or bank transaction services.
• Proven track record of independently generating pipeline, acquiring new enterprise merchants, and closing deals with measurable revenue or transaction-volume results - not primarily managing inbound leads, renewals, or existing accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute sales strategies, manage sales performance, and turn targets into specific actions for both individual contributors and the wider sales team.
• Highly hands-on and field-oriented, with the urgency to meet clients, follow up persistently, investigate issues personally, and unblock stalled opportunities rather than waiting for others to act.
• Strong analytical ability to monitor revenue and transaction trends, identify gaps or anomalies, diagnose commercial and operational causes, and drive corrective action.
• Working understanding of Indonesian payment rails, including Virtual Account, BI-FAST, QRIS, Direct Debit, disbursement, settlement, and reconciliation mechanics.
• Native-level Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English, with the communication and leadership skills to work effectively with clients, partner banks, local sales teams, and HQ
• Willingness to travel domestically for client and partner-bank meetings; experience with aggregator, PSP, or vendor-to-bank models and familiarity with relevant Bank Indonesia regulations are advantages.
