As a Senior Sales Manager at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share within your assigned territory or product line. You will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious targets and maintain Hitachi's competitive edge.

  • Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Hitachi.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews to senior management.
  • Manage sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to deal closure, utilizing CRM tools.
  • Represent Hitachi at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.


Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales management role, preferably within a technology or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet business needs.
  • In-depth understanding of complex sales cycles and solution selling methodologies.
