Job Title: Senior Sales Manager – South (Bangalore & Kerala)
Business: Edwards Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (Kidde Global Solutions)
Location: Bangalore Territory: Karnataka & Kerala
About the role
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, developing consultant relationships, supporting channel partners, and securing project specifications for Edwards Fire Detection & Alarm Systems across Karnataka and Kerala. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships with consultants, end users, and system integrators.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
• Achieve assigned revenue, order booking, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to drive business growth.
• Identify and develop opportunities across Data Centers, IT/ITES, Commercial Buildings, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Government, and Infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Generate demand through specification and end-user engagement.
Consultant & End User Engagement
• Develop strong relationships with consultants, PMCs, architects, and end users.
• Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and design workshops.
• Drive product specifications and approvals for Edwards solutions.
• Identify and engage strategic accounts within the territory.
• Support customers with technical and commercial solutions.
Channel Partner Management
• Manage existing system integrators and channel partners.
• Support partners in identifying and closing project opportunities.
• Conduct regular partner reviews and business planning sessions.
• Assist in onboarding and developing new channel partners.
• Ensure partner training and capability development.
Project Management
• Track projects from design stage through closure.
• Coordinate with application engineering teams for technical support.
• Monitor competition and develop winning strategies.
• Support preparation of BOQs, compliance statements, and commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in CRM.
Financial & Commercial Responsibilities
• Ensure achievement of sales and margin objectives.
• Support collection efforts and reduction of overdue receivables.
• Monitor project profitability and commercial compliance.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams on order execution.
Market Development
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, projects, and industry trends.
• Identify new business opportunities and growth sectors.
• Participate in industry events and customer engagement programs.

Travel Requirement
• Regular travel across Karnataka and Kerala.
• Minimum 3–4 days per week of customer, consultant, and partner visits.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or equivalent).
• 6–12 years of experience in Fire Detection, Fire & Security, ELV, Building Automation, or related industries.
• Experience in project sales, consultant engagement, and channel management.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and specification-driven sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
