We are hiring a: Senior Sales Executive - Life Science, Medical, Clinical and Analytical (MCA), Food & Bev, Pulp & Paper and IMP (Glass, Gypsum)
Location: Southern Sweden (ideally Lund area)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
The Senior Sales Executive will lead commercial activities and drive profitable, sustainable growth across targeted Development Segment industries - Life Science, Medical, Clinical and Analytical (MCA), Food & Bev, Pulp & Paper and IMP (Glass, Gypsum), with a primary geographical focus on the Nordic region. This role is critical in expanding our footprint in strategically important and technically demanding markets. It requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and relentless customer focus, with a particular emphasis on Key Account Management and Strategic Selling to build long-term, high value partnerships. You will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy balancing End User and OEM, build key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure our solutions deliver superior value.
What You’ll Do
Market Development & Strategic Sales
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Watlow’s segment and BU goals
• Identify and pursue new opportunities across the Nordics, targeting key customers
• Position electrification and energy-efficient thermal solutions within decarbonisation strategies
• Manage complex sales cycles using strategic selling approaches and build strong key account plans
• Drive Voice of Customer insights and monitor market trends and competition
Commercial Execution
• Deliver revenue and margin targets across assigned markets
• Maintain a strong pipeline, accurate forecasting, and CRM discipline
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored customer solutions
• Support pricing, negotiations, and margin management
Leadership & Collaboration
• Act as a trusted partner, sharing market insights internally
• Work cross-functionally to align commercial and technical execution
• Represent market needs to influence product and service development
What You’ll need to succeed
• Extensive experience in sales or business development in an industrial B2B environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline. Proven track record in complex B2B industrial or regulated markets (Life Science, MCA, Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, and/or IMP)
• Strong understanding of Industrial processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with equipment, instrumentation, and software solutions used in any of the industries covered by the role, for example life science research, development, and production, Food & Beverage, Pulp and Paper &/or Glass/Gypsum.
• Demonstrated success in Key Account Management, OEM engagement, and Strategic Selling.
• Experience with validation standards (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11) and regulated applications is advantageous. Ability to guide customers in implementing Watlow-Eurotherm's solutions in a compliant manner.
• Strong capabilities in building customer relationships and delivering sustainable commercial success.
• Experience working within a matrixed global organisation and influencing across functions.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet customer needs and attend industry events. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, representing Watlow at conferences, trade shows, internal and customer meetings.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Skilled in CRM usage, opportunity pipeline management, and data-driven sales approaches.
