💼 About the Role

As Senior Sales Executive – Issuing & Acquiring Processing, you will drive new business growth across Cyprus and Malta, with a focus on banks, fintechs, PSPs, acquirers, issuers, and regulated financial institutions.

You will manage the full enterprise B2B sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and building senior relationships to presenting tailored processing solutions, negotiating commercial terms, and closing strategic partnerships. The role is well suited to a commercially strong payments professional who understands complex financial infrastructure and can turn market relationships into long-term revenue.

🔍 Responsibilities

• Promote and sell payment processing solutions, with a strong focus on card issuer processing and card acquirer processing;
• Build and manage relationships with banks, fintechs, PSPs, acquirers, issuers, iGaming-related payment businesses, and other financial institutions across Cyprus and Malta;
• Identify new business opportunities for modern card processing infrastructure, payment technology, and scalable financial services platforms;
• Manage the full B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposals, negotiations, contract finalisation, and long-term partnership management;
• Present complex processing technologies in a clear and commercially relevant way to senior business, product, risk, compliance, and technical stakeholders;
• Prepare tailored commercial proposals, pricing structures, and solution presentations based on client requirements;
• Lead negotiations while clearly defending the company’s commercial and technological value proposition;
• Collaborate with product, implementation, technical, and operations teams to ensure client solutions are practical, compliant, and commercially viable;
• Monitor payments, fintech, PSP, acquiring, issuing, banking, and regulatory trends across Cyprus, Malta, and wider European markets;
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen visibility in the regional payments ecosystem.

🎓 Requirements

• Previous experience selling card issuing processing, card acquiring processing, payment infrastructure, banking technology, or related FinTech solutions;
• Strong understanding of card payments, acquiring, issuing, payment schemes, processing platforms, and financial services technology;
• Proven experience selling to banks, fintechs, PSPs, acquirers, issuers, EMIs, payment institutions, or regulated financial services providers;
• Ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and cross-functional stakeholder groups;
• Confidence explaining technical payment solutions in a clear, business-focused way;
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and senior stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent English communication skills, including professional proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions;
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting, and sales reporting.

Nice to Have

• Existing network within the Cyprus or Malta payments, banking, FinTech, PSP, EMI, or iGaming payments ecosystem;
• Experience selling SaaS, embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service, open banking, fraud prevention, or RegTech solutions;
• Understanding of regulatory expectations affecting payment institutions, EMIs, PSPs, acquiring, and card processing in European markets;
• Greek, Maltese, Italian, or other European language skills;
• Experience representing a company at payments, fintech, iGaming, or financial services events.
