Job Description

As a Senior Sales Executive reporting to AVP - Sales, you'll play a critical role in growing Nasdaq's Financial Technology business across Korea and Japan — driving new revenue, deepening client relationships, and delivering solutions that matter in one of the world's most dynamic financial markets.

You'll thrive in this position if you're a dedicated, results-oriented sales professional with a passion for financial technology and a proven ability to win in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities, driving new business development and revenue growth across Korea and Japan.

  • Manage and grow strategic client relationships, partnering with senior stakeholders to align Nasdaq's solutions with their evolving needs.

  • Lead the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline development through to deal closure — to meet and exceed individual and team targets.

  • Guide the execution of short- and long-term sales strategies, engaging clients and prospects across your territory.

  • Take ownership of client issue resolution, coordinating across internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and an exceptional client experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5–10 years of enterprise sales experience within financial markets, with a track record as a new business hunter.

  • Fluency in English and Japanese.

  • Proven ability to build and manage strategic client relationships at senior levels.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience operating independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling financial technology, market data, or SaaS solutions.

  • Established network within the Korean or Japanese financial services industry.

  • Familiarity with capital markets, trading platforms, or regulatory technology.

This position will be located in Tokyo, Japan and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in-office (subject to change depends on the business needs).
