
Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. Reporting to the CEO, this person is responsible for leading all aspects of sales and business development for our growing cleaning and facility management services organization. The successful applicant will be accountable for the growth of new business as well as growing existing customer sales.
Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage facility management contracts that support the strategic objectives. Ensure compliance standards for contracts, and that all contracts are appropriately executed.
Manage the sales process, including but not limited to generation of leads, appointments with customers, development of specifications for the contract, site visit by operations management employees, estimating of contract proposal, issuing of proposal to prospective customer,s and follow-up.
Prospect and develop new business relationships through cold calling, canvassing, and leveraging networks.
Search for and attend all active RFP invitations/project bids.
Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of contracts and work with appropriate functional leaders.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs – promoting exceptional customer service standards.
Work with operational leaders to conduct site visits and determine the optimal contract terms that will meet the customer’s needs while also working for the operation that will be taken into account.
Generate new customer leads through networking and established accounts.
Manage the rebid process for contracts near expiration. Ensure the company has a solid retention record for existing customers.
Work with internal colleagues to develop new business, product, and offering initiatives. Ensure the profitability of all new business lines and contracts.
Work with external agencies charged with promotion, marketing, and advertising to create and execute a coordinated and metrics-driven marketing and sales plan.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts including competitive monitoring and status.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of business development experience selling services to business facilities or hospitality-related field.
Experience selling recurring services that are billed weekly or monthly or quarterly.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or significant work experience in lieu thereof.
Significant experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
History of proven success at high level negotiations.
