To strengthen our team in Kuala Lumpur, we are looking for:

Sales / Senior Sales Executive (Distributors)

(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Sales Director of Artisan & Distributors, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for building strong and collaborative partnership with all customers and distributors within the country with the ultimate goal of growing the business according to yearly growth strategy. At the same time the successful candidate will also be responsible for distributor management including coaching, guiding and working closely with distributors to enable them to achieve their objectives.

What you will do

1. Generate sales of Puratos products and food ingredients in the area as allocated in order to achieve the budgeted sales and profitability.
2. Achieve new customers by approaching all new key accounts with distributor.
3. Follow-up and introducing additional products to our distributor and existing customers.
4. Working closely with Distributor to increase Puratos penetration and achieve an increases preference for Puratos products.
5. Continuously monitor performance against sales targets to identify deviations from plan and if necessary to take timely corrective actions in order to ensure the realization of agreed sales objectives.
6. Contribute to develop and implement sales strategies and budget.
7. Implement and support the company’s sales activities and services in terms of achieving set goals.
8. Responsible to collect payments from accounts in accordance with company policy.
9. Gather market information regarding market trends, competitive activity and requirements for the development of new and existing products.
10. Follow up closely on new and outstanding orders in co-operation with sales administration and warehouse department to assure good service to customers.
11. Setting a good working example in terms of discipline and drive to achieve targets set, to the junior executives.
12. Fully support & implement GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, HALAL, Golden Unicorn, and other systems by the company.

What we expect from you

• Min STPM/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Min 3 years experience in in Distributor Management in FMCG or traditional trade.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication, resilient and result-oriented.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and local dialect.
• Passionate about baking with good personality.
• Good leadership and problem solving skill.
• Must be willing to travel.
