The Senior Sales Executive at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the client base for our financial products and services. This role involves managing key client relationships and achieving sales targets within the Malaysian market.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing portfolios for UOB Malaysia.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including engaging with potential corporate and individual clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through excellent service and proactive engagement.
* Present and effectively sell a range of banking products and services tailored to client needs (e.g., loans, deposits, wealth management, trade finance).
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs consistently.
* Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and sales reports to management.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the financial services industry.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, credit, operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
* Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in Malaysia.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of financial products and services offered by commercial banks.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at various levels.
* Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; proficiency in other local dialects would be an advantage.
