A Day in the Life

Medtronic is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to join the Commercial Analytics & Insights (CA&I) Team supporting the EurAsia region. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of commercial solutions by applying artificial intelligence (AI) and commercial insight to real business needs. You will help create AI-enabled products that improve sales planning, decision-making, productivity and growth, while acting as a trusted and highly communicative partner for stakeholders across the business.

You will contribute to initiatives end to end, from discovering the business need and shaping the solution through to delivery, adoption and measuring impact. You will work closely with commercial teams, the Data & AI Platforms within IT and other delivery partners to turn insight into action across different Commercial areas. The role includes hands-on work across Data & Analytics capabilities to develop solutions that help business users interact with data and insights through more natural, self-service experiences. You will be based in Prague within a hybrid working model, with collaboration across countries, cultures and business functions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Act as the business partner of the CA&I Team for commercial stakeholders across EurAsia, building trusted relationships
• Discover and prioritize high-value business needs, translating them into scalable solutions that can be adopted across countries and business divisions
• Collaborate on the design, development and continuous improvement of AI agents, insight products and decision-support solutions
• Build and support reliable data capabilities using Structured Query Language (SQL), integrating multiple sources with strong data quality and accuracy in line with governance best practices
• Work in agile teams from requirements through adoption, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews, working with delivery partners using Jira while communicating technical concepts, data limitations and AI opportunities clearly to non-technical audiences
• Simplify, standardize and automate commercial processes and tools, measuring impact such as revenue growth, adoption, time saved or improved planning decisions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Management, Information Systems or a related field
• At least four years of experience applying data, analytics or AI to commercial needs in a multinational environment, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery across areas such as revenue and quota attainment, sales pipeline and forecasting, market insights and competitive intelligence, customer or territory segmentation, and sales performance including new product launches
• Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and experience combining data from multiple sources, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, with a focus on data quality and trusted commercial insight
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake, and with delivering intuitive insights and data products
• Applied experience using artificial intelligence (AI) for commercial use cases, with familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and intelligent automation
• Sound business acumen and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively in agile teams with business and IT partners, including through requirements and backlog discussions; fluency in English
• Experience with orchestration tools and third-party market data management is an advantage. A background in MedTech, healthcare or pharmaceutical organizations, commercial planning, or work across multiple countries and cultures is also welcome.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
