Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Safety Engineer to join our team!
In this role, you will support the Project Team in ensuring that site-specific Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) plans, workplaces, and operational activities are implemented in line with Parsons’ standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assists the Project Manager with administering and implementing SH&E programs.
• Audits projects and worksites against Parsons’ corporate safety standards.
• Conducts site inspections to identify hazards and provides expert guidance to eliminate or control SH&E risks.
• Prepares and submits written audit, inspection, and corrective action reports.
• Monitors work planning and execution to ensure compliance with the ESHARP management system.
• Implements occupational injury and incident reporting, investigation, and management processes.
• Supports safety awareness initiatives, toolbox talks, and site safety briefings.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• OSHA training and strong understanding of occupational safety practices.
• Working knowledge of SH&E regulations and reporting procedures.
• Familiarity with safety-related national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work in diverse environments.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.

• NEBOSH certification.
• Global mindset with experience working on multicultural or international projects.
