We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to support our Infrastructure Services Minor Civils business for South-East Queensland. Based in Eight Mile Plains, you will be responsible for ensuring an effective safety culture, by aligning our “Living Safely” ethos, and driving compliance with WHS legislation. How you’ll connect to the role?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Safety Advisor with a strong understanding of civil construction environments and the risks associated with delivering civil works. Previous experience supporting civil construction projects is highly desirable and will be a key advantage in this role. You will ideally have experience working across civil infrastructure, roadworks, earthworks, drainage, utilities or similar construction activities, with a practical understanding of the day-to-day risks associated with mobile plant, excavations, services, traffic interfaces and subcontractor activities.
Your relevant qualification in Health and Safety, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, practical knowledge of WHS requirements and experience supporting project teams with risk management, SWMS, site assurance and incident investigations will set you up for success. Furthermore, your positive, engaging, and solutions-oriented attitude will let you quickly make an impact and successfully integrate into this close-knit team.
