Sr. RPA Developer – Job Description

We are currently looking for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer. As a Developer of RPA, you will be working with both business stakeholders and IT to deliver a best-in-class automation experience. You will be working in a fast-paced international environment on a modern and well-designed automation product.

Our RPA team’s mission is to help and support process experts in our business functions and operations to build end-to-end process automation solutions by means of RPA and modern development models. In our RPA product offering, we leverage emerging technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with business operations, business analysts, and product owners to create and optimize workflow processes. You’ll also lead initiatives related to designing and managing workflow automation projects, testing, and fixing bugs.

DELIVERABLE/CONTRIBUTION:

  • Translates business processes and logical design into physical program specifications.
  • Capture, refine, and communicate requirements on the global RPA platform.
  • Lead the work to Design, develop, test, and deploy automation workflows.
  • Contribute to practicing the Development framework and share best practices on RPA.
  • Ensure alignment with the architecture strategy and drive the adaptation of automation in the company.
  • Act as an expert and support process experts in developing automation solutions within their process areas.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Lead tasks for the global development team.
  • Design, develop, and test automation workflows.
  • Supervise release and deployment of RPA components, including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools.
  • Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions.
  • Create and support process and end-user documentation.
  • Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).
  • Work with Business Analysts, Process Leads, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business-impacting projects.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
  • Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
  • Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
  • Be an integral part and key contributor to the Automation Center of Excellence model
  • Assisting in refining and maintaining the COE framework with respect to the lifecycle of RPA use cases, their deployment, execution, and support

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a field that provides a strong foundation for the successful performance of the duties in this job description.
  • 7-9 years of experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development (Python, Java, or. Net).
  • 6+ years of experience working with the development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), such as UiPath, Azure OpenAI, Power Platforms, and Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in mentoring the development team with technical competencies.
  • Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, business and technical requirements, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Energetic and passionate to learn new things
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the cloud domain
  • Experience in JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence tools
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and their use in project management

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing
