Position: Rope Access Level 3
The Special Access Services Division provides internal and external expert services in professional rope access, sUAS, and ROV operations. As our capabilities and project demands continue to grow, we are looking to add a skilled professional to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional rope access work on ATS projects in accordance with industry standards
- Support site supervision and assist with project coordination alongside senior leadership
- Serve as a positive point of contact for clients and represent ATS professionally in the field
- Conduct daily Competent Person inspections of rope access equipment
- Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Managing technically complex jobs requiring advanced rigging oversight
- Providing on-site training and supervision for junior technicians
- Ensuring compliance with ATS safety standards and applicable codes
- Perform inspections of suspended access and fall protection systems (with additional training), including compliance with OSHA, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, IWCA, and ASME standards
- Support load testing of anchors and suspended access equipment (training provided)
- Conduct additional equipment inspections as needed
- Assist as an instructor or training support within internal rope access programs
- Contribute to project management efforts, including safety oversight and execution
- Travel up to 50% as required by project needs
- Participate in occasional night and weekend work based on project demands
- Adhere to all ATS policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
- Current SPRAT Level III or IRATA Level III certification (must be maintained)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating at Level III (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of rope access techniques, rigging systems, and safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in the field
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior technicians
- Familiarity with applicable industry standards (OSHA, ANSI, ASTM, ISO, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
