REQ13860 Senior Room Attendant (Open)

Senior Room Attendant is responsible for the servicing and turndown of the guest rooms as well as the cleanliness of the service areas in accordance with the company’s standards and checklists.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide cleaning service and turndown by following company’s standards.
• Deliver and refill Minibar products, fruits and amenities in guest rooms by following established company’s checklists and standards in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining guests’ privacy and comfort.
• Refill amenities and general items of Floor Pantry and Minibar.
• Delivery of special amenities and setup in guest rooms upon request (e.g. decorations on special occasions).
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel and guest rooms including facilities, restocking requirements and operations to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptly.
• Perform coaching and training Room Attendant on daily operations by following the SOP of City of Dreams.
• Adhere to all security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting any unusual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to hotel health & safety requirements.
• Actively participate in health & safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health & safety of all team members is valued.
• Communicate with fellow team members and departments to proactively service guests and ensure the standards are maintained as well as guest requirements are satisfied.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the heart of house areas ensuring they are clean and free of risks including using appropriate cautionary signage to alert guests and fellow team members of potential risks as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the superiors.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Experience

• Minimum 2-year experience is an advantage, preferably with 5-star hotel.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent professional training is preferable.

• Flexibility in approach to work and be able to step in if and when required to assist with room cleaning and other tasks as may be directed by the superior and manager.

• Ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin or English.
