We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labour tasks and mitigate labour shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting-edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world. As a Senior Robotics Engineer (Mobile), you will develop, deploy and test infrastructure for teleoperation and learning in the context of mobile-based dexterous robotic manipulation, and closely work with our robotics and AI team to achieve safe and robust operation on site. Responsibilities
Own the technical direction of mobile base solutions for our AI-driven manipulation platforms
Deploy, test and develop ROS2, Python/C++/Rust software that makes our robots come to life
Guide robotics and AI team members in the context of mobile robotics, AGVs and their safety aspects
Support on-site deployment of the mobile systems, and interface with our customers’ safety solutions if needed
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
3+ years of work experience in developing, integrating and deploying mobile robotic systems in an industrial environment.
Proficiency in Python and C++
Proficiency with Linux.
Nice to have
Proficiency in Rust.
Experience in industrial safety in the context of mobile platforms.
Experience in utilising learning-based controllers in robotics.
