A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Clinical Sales Manager, Surgical Robotics Australia, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing one of our flagship robotic surgery programs. Working at the forefront of surgical innovation, you will partner closely with surgeons, hospital teams and internal stakeholders to drive clinical excellence, grow program utilisation and expand the reach of both robotic and digital surgery solutions within your account. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on clinical work and strategic impact, helping accelerate the adoption of innovative surgical technologies across Australia.

Reporting to the Clinical Sales Manager, Surgical Robotics Australia, you will work collaboratively across functions to drive clinical engagement, support program growth within your account, and contribute to the advancement of active robotic surgery opportunities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide clinical and technical support during Hugo™ RAS System procedures, ensuring a high standard of customer support and patient care

  • Support surgeon onboarding, education and ongoing development through coaching, training and procedural support

  • Prepare and support operating room readiness, including robotic inventory management and procedural planning to ensure seamless case execution

  • Support the growth, utilisation and ongoing optimisation of robotic surgery programs within your assigned account

  • Partner with surgeons, hospital stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to drive clinical engagement and program expansion

  • Facilitate adoption of the Hugo™ RAS System by supporting procedure selection, instrumentation engagement and transition of suitable cases to robotics

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive expansion of digital surgery solutions in your account, supporting both robotic and non-robotic users

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute surgeon engagement, utilisation and digital surgery strategies for key opportunities

  • Support the NSW Business Development Manager in clinically advancing active robotic opportunities through stakeholder engagement, program assessments and clinical insight

  • Coordinate proctorships, clinical observations and training activities that support surgeon development and program growth

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities that enhance awareness, adoption and long-term success of robotic and digital surgery programs

  • Monitor, analyse and report on program performance, utilisation trends and key milestones to demonstrate value and identify growth opportunities

  • Contribute to broader Surgical business initiatives, supporting the ANZ team as required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Demonstrable experience in clinical setting or capital equipment sales

  • Operating Room knowledge or experience

  • Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery

  • Experience in change management process

  • Willingness to travel to support business requirements
