We're looking for an experienced Senior Roads Engineer to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead the development, and implementation of road infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception through completion.

  • Develop comprehensive road and highway projects using industry-standard software and engineering principles
  • Conduct detailed site surveys and traffic analysis to inform project planning and design decisions
  • Check technical specifications, design drawings, and construction documentation for road infrastructure projects
  • Oversee construction activities and perform site inspections to ensure quality standards and adherence to project specifications
  • Check traffic patterns and implementation of road safety, efficiency, and capacity
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors to deliver with integrated solutions
  • Review and evaluate contractor proposals and track project timelines and deliverables
  • Ensure all projects comply with Saudi Arabian regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on project-related matters
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory authorities
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and advancements in road engineering

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in roads, highways, or transportation infrastructure engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in civil engineering design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D..
  • Strong knowledge of road design standards, specifications, and construction methodologies
  • Expertise in traffic engineering, pavement design, and drainage systems
  • Proven ability to conduct site supervision, inspections, and quality assurance activities
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction management and contractor coordination
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Preferred experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Preferred knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design and green engineering practices
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor junior staff
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
