About the Client

Our client is an international Electronic Money Institution providing multi-currency business accounts, payment processing, and corporate card issuing services. They enable businesses to conduct international transactions via payment networks like SWIFT and SEPA. Clients manage their finances using online banking and mobile applications.

Role Overview

As a Senior Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide risk management framework. This is an exciting opportunity to impact the strategic objectives of the company by managing various risks, including financial, operational, and regulatory. Collaborate with teams across the organization to embed effective risk management practices and support regulatory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the risk management framework aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage and monitor financial, operational, regulatory, liquidity, fraud, cybersecurity, and third-party risks.
• Provide regular risk reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations for Electronic Money Institutions.
• Establish and maintain risk policies, KRIs, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
• Monitor the company's risk profile, identify emerging risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Compliance, AML, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Support risk-related regulatory engagements, audits, and governance activities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in Risk Management within fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial institutions, including senior roles.
• Proven experience in EMI, PI, or banking environments with strong regulatory framework knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise risk management and various risk types.
• Experience with financial regulators, external auditors, and senior management or Board-level committees.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Languages: English, Russian.
