Risk Oversight is part of the SEB Group CRO Function organisation. CRO Function is a global and independent control function, whose overall purpose of the CRO Function is to understand the risk profile of SEB and to prevent SEB from taking excessive risk. The main responsibility for the CRO Function is to identify, measure, monitor and analyse SEB's risks.
In SEB Baltics Risk Oversight is working in close cooperation with Finance, Risk and Data (FR&D) Tribe which is developing and constantly enhancing risk solutions on the Baltic Data Warehouse platform. FR&D Tribe is formed of agile teams comprising international experts from risk, finance, technology, and data areas. The objective is to ensure effective, accurate and timely development of risk and reporting solutions on a Baltic level, in accordance with the requirements set by internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a senior credit risk expert that would be closely working together with the FR&D Tribe with various projects and initiatives relating to credit risk.
Active role in risk solutions development/ implementation, working together with IT
Ensure local implementation, well-functioning infrastructure and documentation of the credit risk models and other credit risk solutions
Driving development activities - analysis of related systems/ products/ data flows, and assessment of impact and potential changes needed to current reports/ solutions
Specification of detailed technical requirements with focus to ensure effective balance between high-level risk requirements and practical specificities of risk related systems/ products/ data flows
Participation in business logic testing (i.e. with focus on the general functionality and integration for newly developed solutions), including the design of test cases and actual testing
Develop and maintain credit risk related documentation, methodologies and instructions
Provide proposals for innovations and improvements based on stakeholders’ needs and feedback
Making ad-hoc data analysis and communication with stakeholders to interpret data
Additional tasks in areas such as internal control framework, risk management activities, policies, and instructions
5 years of experience in Risk, Finance or related areas, handling large datasets and extensively working with credit risk and reporting solutions
Experience in data analysis/ extracting using SQL and MS products
Excellent analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with various Credit Risk and Finance data definitions (Capital adequacy, IFRS9, Basel, IRB etc.)
Possess experience within the areas of credit risk models
Skilled at managing interactions between business and IT
As a person you are a goal driven, proactive, with good cooperation skills as well as a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to plan work and prioritise
Degree in finance, economics, math or equivalent
Fluency in English
It would be a significant advantage if you came from a similar working setup with close collaboration between risk and IT, and had a good understanding of various banking products, credit process and related technical infrastructure. Awareness of related regulatory requirements would also be considered an asset.
