Job Description

Chief of Staff – KIT Program | Adelaide

At KeyInvest, we are progressing a major transformation program (KIT) focused on strengthening operational resilience, governance, and risk capability across the organisation.

We are seeking a Senior Risk Assurance & Implementation Manager to play a critical role in turning remediation design into real, sustainable outcomes This is a high-impact position suited to a hands-on, delivery-focused leader who thrives in regulated environments and knows how to drive change that stands up to scrutiny.

About the Role

This role sits at the centre of delivery, acting as the bridge between design and execution

You will take approved remediation initiatives and ensure they are implemented effectively, evidenced appropriately, and embedded sustainably across the business.

This is not a reporting role — you will drive outcomes, challenge where needed, and hold delivery to account

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate approved remediation design into practical, delivery-ready implementation plans
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to define actions, milestones, ownership and dependencies
  • Maintain strong discipline around closure criteria, ensuring outcomes meet substance — not just activity completion
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across business, risk, technology and operations
  • Build and maintain assurance-ready evidence packs aligned to closure requirements
  • Provide clear, decision-useful reporting to governance forums
  • Identify and escalate risks early, with practical path-to-green solutions
  • Ensure remediation is embedded into BAU, not treated as a one-off exercise

What you will bring:

This role requires a credible, senior operator with a strong track record of delivering remediation and control uplift in regulated environments.

You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end remediation or risk/control uplift initiatives
  • Ability to convert audit, regulatory or risk findings into implemented outcomes
  • Strong experience preparing evidence packs, closure submissions and assurance artefacts
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, including the ability to challenge and hold accountability
  • Exceptional planning, coordination and dependency management capability
  • A strong risk and control mindset, with attention to detail and evidence quality

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in APRA-regulated environments
  • Exposure to prudential standards such as CPS 230, CPS 234, CPS 220 or CPS 510
  • Background in areas such as:
    - Operational risk and control uplift
    - Business continuity and resilience
    - Technology / information security risk
    - Third-party and outsourcing risk
    - Governance framework implementation
