Job Description

Senior RF Electrical Engineer

Key Performance Areas
Research and Development
  • Research, design, and development of antennas and technology
  • Stay current on antenna and RF engineering best practices
  • Improve tools for processing simulations and measurement results
  • Contribute to Technical Specification documents with product data
  • Benchmark The Companys antennas vs. competitors and enhance performance
Product Management
  • Define long-term vision and strategy for The Companys products
  • Manage product lifecycle using best product management practices
  • Create and analyze product business cases (financial and strategic)
  • Research emerging technologies and their impact on product strategy
  • Analyze competitors products (strengths, weaknesses, market, pricing)
  • Develop product plans (roadmaps), MSRPs by region/territory
Prototype Management
  • Oversee prototype construction
  • Measure and record simulation results
  • Process measurements for quick managerial decision-making
  • Recommend changes to improve antenna performance
  • Debug prototypes and communicate required updates to production
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Administration and Reporting
  • Complete correspondence and administration accurately and on time
  • Manage email, inbox, and data efficiently
  • Maintain professional communication
  • Submit accurate and timely reports as required
  • Adhere to departmental SOPs
  • Provide statistics and information when requested

Qualifications & Experience
  • 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Experience in:
    • Design management
    • Product management
  • High computer literacy
  • Strong English verbal and written communication
  • Assertive and self-driven personality
