Job Summary

The Reward Services Americas team plays a key role in ensuring that Tetra Pak’s compensation and benefits programs are delivered consistently, effectively, and in line with company policies, governance principles, and local market requirements. Working across a diverse group of countries, the team helps bring global Reward frameworks to life through practical, day-to-day support for employees, managers, Human Resources teams, and business stakeholders.

We are looking for a Senior Reward Specialist to support the delivery of compensation, benefits, reward processes, and analytics across countries within the Americas time zone. Acting as a key connection between Tetra Pak’s global Reward expertise and the markets across the Americas, you will help translate Reward policies, frameworks, and governance principles into practical solutions that support local business needs while ensuring consistency, compliance, and effective delivery of compensation and benefits programs.

As a subject matter expert for the markets under your responsibility, you will serve as a trusted point of reference on compensation and benefits matters, providing guidance and support to Human Resources and business stakeholders. The role combines strong technical expertise, analytical capability, stakeholder management, and a customer-focused mindset to help balance business needs with governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

While the primary focus of this role is the successful execution, administration, and delivery of compensation and benefits programs and processes across the Americas, it also offers opportunities to contribute to global, regional, and local projects as part of our collaborative and continuous improvement culture. As part of these initiatives, you will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across functions, countries, and regions, expanding your internal network, strengthening your expertise, and gaining exposure to projects with broad organizational visibility and impact.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Reward Services Americas. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with diverse markets and stakeholders, making a tangible impact by translating Reward principles, policies, and governance frameworks into meaningful and consistent outcomes for employees and the business.

You will be based in Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico, or alternatively in Monte Mor or São Paulo, Brazil.

Tetra Pak does not offer support for visa or relocation for this position.

We strongly encourage applications from individuals belonging to underrepresented or minoritized groups, including women, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and others.

What you will do

As a Senior Reward Specialist, you will:

  • Be responsible for delivering compensation, benefits, and Reward processes across the countries under your scope within the Americas region, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality execution;
  • Support annual compensation review and variable pay processes, maintaining strong data integrity and adherence to defined timelines and governance requirements;
  • Participate in market benchmarking activities, salary surveys, and Reward reporting to support external competitiveness, internal equity, and business decision-making;
  • Provide data-driven analysis, insights, and recommendations to support compensation-related decisions and evolving business needs;
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted point of reference for Human Resources teams, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), and business stakeholders on compensation and benefits topics across the markets under your responsibility;
  • Partner with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), local markets, and regional and global stakeholders to implement Reward programs and processes, support local business requirements, and deliver consistent, effective, and business-oriented compensation and benefits solutions across multiple countries and cultures;
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, governance standards, and confidentiality expectations while contributing to local, regional, and global projects, continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization efforts, and the optimization of Reward service delivery.

We believe you have

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
  • Experience in Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, or related areas, with a good understanding of compensation programs, market practices, and reward processes;
  • Working knowledge of market benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies, and salary surveys from providers such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, or Korn Ferry;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations, supported by advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and macros;
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the curiosity and willingness to contribute to projects, process enhancements, standardization efforts, and automation initiatives across local, regional, and global teams;
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain compensation concepts clearly, build credibility, and act as a trusted subject matter expert across different organizational levels and cultures;
  • A proactive, self-driven, and resilient approach, along with sound judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities;
  • High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance, with a strong commitment to governance principles, policies, and established processes;
  • Professional fluency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is also required, depending on the location of the successful candidate. Proficiency in the third language (Spanish or Portuguese) will be considered a strong advantage, given the regional scope of the role.

We Offer You

  • A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape
  • A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results
  • An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion
  • Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements
