Join Our Dynamic Team as a Cloud Services Engineer! 🌟

The purpose of this role is to take senior, hands-on ownership of the organisation’s cloud services environment, ensuring it is secure, reliable, cost-effective, and continuously improving. The role is responsible for managing, developing and maintaining services across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and the Cisco Meraki environment, supporting modern ways of working and high-quality internal technology services.

What will you be doing?

The Cloud Services Engineer is accountable for the stability, performance, security, and continual improvement of core cloud and network platforms (particularly Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Cisco Meraki) that underpin day-to-day operations. The role also supports a small on-premises domain controller environment during its transition to full cloud operation, including planning and executing the decommissioning activities in a controlled, low-risk manner. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, the role ensures the platform estate is well-governed, appropriately automated, and operated in line with modern best practice, including backup and disaster recovery readiness

This position plays a key role in supporting Babble’s commercial performance by delivering clear, accurate and actionable revenue insights.

Working within the Revenue Operations team, the role is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting that provides visibility of revenue performance across the business, including bookings, Terminations and sales pipeline.

The role works closely with Sales Leadership, Customer Success, Marketing, and Commercial Finance to ensure the business has a consistent and reliable view of revenue performance and future growth. The role will also support the preparation and validation of commission calculations, ensuring incentive payouts are consistent with agreed compensation plans and supported by accurate revenue data.

Through strong analytical capability and cross-functional collaboration, the Revenue Operations and Commercial Analyst will help improve revenue predictability and support better commercial decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Performance and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards that provide visibility of key revenue metrics including bookings, pipeline, forecast, retention and net growth.

  • Support the delivery of regular commercial reporting for Sales Leadership and Executive teams.

  • Maintain and improve reporting within Salesforce and Power BI to ensure accurate and accessible commercial data.

  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in revenue performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and customer retention.

Pipeline and Forecast Analysis

  • Provide analysis of pipeline health, identifying potential risks and opportunities within the sales pipeline.

  • Support forecasting processes through data validation, trend analysis, and performance insights.

  • Work with Sales leadership to strengthen pipeline discipline and improve the reliability of forecast submissions.

  • Work with sales teams to encourage consistent CRM usage and maintain pipeline hygiene.

  • Support the governance and accuracy of Salesforce data across commercial teams.

Performance Management and Decision Support

  • Provide proactive analysis and recommendations to support commercial decision-making across Sales, Revenue Operations, and Commercial Finance.

  • Support leadership by translating data into clear insights and practical recommendations that improve commercial performance.

Commission Operations and Governance

  • Support the preparation, calculation, and validation of sales commission data in line with agreed compensation plans and booking rules.

  • Maintain accurate commission calculation files, supporting schedules, and audit trails to ensure payouts are consistent, transparent, and aligned to company policy.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Commercial Finance to investigate commission queries, validate booking inputs, and resolve discrepancies where required.

Commercial Finance Support

  • Partner with the Commercial Finance team to support analysis of revenue performance.

  • Assist with revenue bridge analysis and financial performance tracking.

  • Support scenario modelling and revenue trend analysis where required.

  • Ensure operational revenue data used by Revenue Operations aligns with financial reporting used by Finance.

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Experience working with Salesforce.

  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet capability with experience working with large datasets.

  • Strong analytical capability with experience analysing revenue or sales performance data.

  • Strong commercial curiosity with the ability to move beyond reporting and provide practical performance insights and recommendations

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across commercial and finance teams.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately within defined compensation rules, approval processes, and audit requirements.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience building dashboards or reports using BI tools such as Power BI.

  • Experience working within a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Analytics role.

  • Experience supporting revenue forecasting or pipeline analysis.

  • Experience supporting commission calculations or incentive reporting processes.

  • Experience working with Commercial Finance or FP&A teams.

  • Knowledge of recurring revenue or subscription-based business models.

  • Experience working in a B2B technology or SaaS environment
