Job Description

An established, respected and vertically integrated Florida Citrus Grower/Packer/Shipper is seeking a talented Retail Sales pro due to the company’s success and forecasted growth. This role will be responsible for developing and managing new retail sales programs. This position will ideally be based full-time in Central Florida. (With relocation assistance available – if needed) Remote-based or hybrid could also be considered, for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Work with mgt on developing prospective target customers; prospecting and selling to new retail customers.
• Utilize your established contacts and relationships to develop contracted retail sales programs for customers across North America.
• Execute short and long-term sales goals along with sales strategies by aligning with overall company goals.
• Achieve growth with customers, such as sales volume, share of business, price, among other metrics.
• Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback.
• Routine travel as needed for customer presentations, business meetings, industry events, etc.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail sales experience in the citrus category.
• Established retail customer contacts that you can utilize on Day 1.
• Experienced with produce quality, logistics, and contracted retail programs.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing a sales strategy as well as getting results through new customer acquisition.
• Skilled negotiation skills and problem solver.
• Excellent interpersonal skills along with an entrepreneurial spirit.
