Senior Retail Assistant

Permanent Part-Time — Up to 25 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Senior Retail Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent part-time position with set rostered hours for someone who knows retail, works well without supervision, and takes pride in their job.

Hours and Availability

• Set rostered hours, with the security of a permanent part-time position
• Varying shifts across weekdays.
• Shift times vary according to the store's trading hours
• Availability across a range of days and times is essential

What You Will Be Doing

• Delivering friendly, helpful service and handling customer questions and returns
• Operating the register and processing sales, refunds and exchanges on our POS system
• Receiving stock, replenishing shelves and maintaining product presentation
• Setting up promotions, ticketing and planogram changes as directed
• Supporting the Shift Supervisor and helping other team members
• Keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented
• Following work health and safety procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Previous retail experience
• Reliability: turning up on time for every rostered shift
• Sound cash handling and basic computer skills
• The ability to work on your own initiative and keep busy without direction
• A calm, practical approach with customers and team members
• Ability to be on your feet for a full shift and to lift and move stock safely

Pay and Conditions

Award rates apply under the General Retail Industry Award.
